Directions to the starting point:

To get to the library, take I-74 to Exit #1 - New Haven Rd. (This is West of I-275). At the top of the ramp, turn right. The library is on the left just past the stop intersection (Carolina Trace). The library is in a modern looking building with lots of glass.

Directions to the letterbox:

To find this letterbox, you will need to be inside the library to solve the following clues that will give you the letters you need (in the proper order) to fill in the following blanks.

__ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __      __ __ __ __

For the first letter, locate the spider and use the first letter of the words below him.

Next, go to the other end of the shelf and use the first letter of the animal on top.

Find the teen books and use the first letter of the thing that swims on top of them.

Find the 'Easy Books', then locate the E-H / H-L section. Use the last letter of the critter above this section.

Look for the 'New Children's Books'. Use the last letter of the creature on top of them.

Find the dog. Use the 4th letter of the items below him.

Under the fish, use the 4th letter of the word found on the spines of the books.

Using the sign that identifies the section guarded by the dinosaur, use the 1st letter of the second word.

The spider and the Elephant guard the last letter of this word.

The last part of this puzzle is a 4 letter word found twice on objects to identify them (to the side of the tiled path).

Once you have filled in the blanks, you will know where to go to find the letterbox. You'll need the help of a librarian (the staff knows about this box). Please do your best to find a spot where you won't be seen to stamp into the log book and let me know what you think of the stamp & this library. Do not remove the letterbox from the library! When you are done, please return the library letterbox to a librarian.

Thank-You,

Scoutdogs
